The Iraqi Contractors Union held its annual general assembly meeting.

In December 2024, the Iraqi Contractors Union held its annual general assembly meeting, attended by the union’s president, Mr. Ali Fakher Al-Sanafi, members of the union’s board of directors, heads of the union’s provincial branches, and members of their respective boards of directors.
Mr. Al-Sanafi reviewed the union’s activities during 2024, the most prominent milestones of the past year, and the efforts adopted by the union’s president and board members, with the participation of some contractors from the provincial branches, to communicate with relevant institutions and the Prime Minister’s Office. The goal is to create a work environment that aligns with the country’s needs and address the challenges facing Iraqi contractors, particularly their financial dues.
The union’s general assembly members voted on the contents of the annual report, which included numerous resolutions that regulate performance and enhance the union’s ability to serve local contracting companies.
